  • What should I do first if a pipe bursts in my home?

Turn off your main water valve right away. This will stop water flow and help prevent significant flooding damage.
  • Why does my sink drain so slowly?

Buildup from hair, soap scum, and debris accumulates in your drain over time. A plunger or drain snake typically resolves the issue.
  • Is it safe to use chemical drain cleaners?

We don't recommend them. These harsh chemicals can corrode older metal pipes and damage plastic piping over time.
  • What causes low water pressure throughout the whole house?

Low pressure throughout your home typically results from a malfunctioning pressure regulator, an undetected leak, or mineral deposits in aging pipes.
  • Why does my toilet keep running constantly?

The rubber flapper in your tank has probably worn out. When it can't seal properly, water continuously leaks through.
  • Can I flush "flushable" wipes down the toilet?

You shouldn't. Unlike toilet paper, these wipes don't break down properly. They create clogs in your pipes and can damage sewer pumps.
  • How often should I drain my water heater?

You should flush your water heater annually. This process removes sediment accumulation and helps extend your tank's life.
  • What causes a terrible rotten egg smell near my sink?

Your P-trap underneath the sink may have dried out. When this happens, sewer gases can rise up into your home.
  • Why do my pipes make a loud banging noise when I turn off the water?

You're experiencing water hammer. This occurs when rapidly flowing water stops abruptly, causing your pipes to shake.
  • How can I tell if I have a hidden water leak?

Monitor your water meter while no water is being used. If you notice the dial moving, there's a leak somewhere in your system.
